SAFETY STATEMENTS
VUDU Internet Movie Player
Warning: Do not move the VUDU Internet Movie Player while it is plugged into a power
source. This may cause significant damage to the hard drive, resulting in loss of data or
functionality.
Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or
moisture. Do not use near water.
Do not open your VUDU Internet Movie Player. If you do so, it will void the warranty. There
are no user serviceable parts inside. Contact VUDU for your nearest authorized service agent.
CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT
TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERY ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Use only the authorized power supply and AC cord, provided by VUDU. The VUDU Internet
Movie Player requires no more than 12 VDC at 2 Amps.
Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
Clean only with a dry cloth.
Do not attempt to use the player for any medical, aviation, or military application.
Please place the VUDU Internet Movie Player where its vent holes will remain clear—they
provide necessary ventilation for the unit.
Do not place the Internet Movie Player on an amplifier or any component with open vent holes
on top.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
The VUDU Internet Movie Player has a maximum operating temperature of 45 degrees Centigrade
(115F).
The VUDU Internet Movie Player contains perchlorate material—special handling may apply.
